Delete your GhostRooms account

This page explains how to request deletion of your GhostRooms account and the data associated with it. GhostRooms is developed by Nasir Hasanov. If you have any trouble, email haikuappdeveloper@gmail.com.

Delete your account from inside the app

The fastest way — your account and data are removed immediately:

1. Open GhostRooms and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm by tapping Delete my account.

That's it — your account is permanently deleted right away and cannot be recovered.

Can't open the app? Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email haikuappdeveloper@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete your account and data within 30 days.

What data is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes, from our database:

• Your account details — email address, display name, and hashed password.
• Your notification token (used for push notifications).
• Rooms you created, and all games played in them.
• Your game content — the answers you wrote, and the guesses, votes, and scores tied to you — across every room you joined.

What data is kept

Nothing that identifies you is kept. After deletion we retain only:

• Short‑lived technical logs (such as IP address and request time), kept briefly for security and abuse prevention and then purged.
• Backups, if any exist, which are rotated and fully purged within 30 days, after which no copy of your data remains.

We do not keep your profile, game content, or any personal data beyond these retention periods.
