Terms of Service

Welcome to GhostRooms. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the developer of GhostRooms ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use GhostRooms.

1. Who can use GhostRooms

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to use the app. By using GhostRooms you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when signing up, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. How the game works and your content

GhostRooms lets you write anonymous answers to prompts, vote on answers, and guess the identities of other players. You keep ownership of the content you create. By posting it, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content to the other players in your room as part of gameplay — anonymously during the match, and attributed to your display name at the end‑of‑match Big Reveal.

4. Acceptable use

GhostRooms is meant to be fun among friends. You agree not to use it to:

• harass, bully, threaten, or defame anyone;
• post hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise unlawful content;
• impersonate others or reveal someone's private information without consent;
• spam, cheat, exploit bugs, or attempt to break, overload, or reverse‑engineer the service;
• use the app for any illegal purpose.

5. Content moderation

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are harmful, at our discretion. Rooms are invite‑only, so you also control who you play with.

6. Termination

You may stop using GhostRooms and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

7. Disclaimer

GhostRooms is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or secure, and we are not responsible for content created by other users.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of GhostRooms, including any content shared through it.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's country of residence, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law rules.
